Rocket Systems
Conventional aeration systems installed in grain bins only dry from the bottom up. Although effective in drying the bottom half of the bin, they often fall short of drying grain in the center and top. As grain is augured into the bin, fine grains collect in the center resulting in a dense, packed core that is difficult for air to penetrate. The Rocket's unique louver design allows for easy cleanout as grain will not hang up on the rocket body. The downward facing louver ensures maximum airflow as grain cannot plug the louver.
Grain Guard systems overcome conventional system limitations by:
- Forcing air into the center of the bin
- Providing a drying front that conforms to the pile of grain
- Reducing static pressure
- Increasing fan efficiency by as much as 20%
- Reducing drying time by as much as 50%
